office building in a rural area, jiangsu 2012
This conceptual design is for a bank subsidiary in a rural area. The idea is to divide two functions which are business and office into two buildings with a connection in between. The business building is in the front to the road for public with a welcome feeling and accessible solution on ground floor. The office area of the bank is arranged in the rear block for private use. The buildings are designed in natural tones to merge into the surroundings with a geometric modern facade. Roof gardens, Low-E double glazing, balconies and verandas are considered to achieve energy-saving results.
